01/03/07 Yes, we're writing these as we go. No, we're not catching up and back-dating things. |

12/24/06 It's Christmas Lilith, which predates Christmas Eve, and you know what that means? A special birth is imminent. Taking this special moment to blaspheme a little (like our title doesn't, for those who are concerned about such things), we're giving birth soon to the newer version of the website! The ultrasounds look promising. Sure, we keep using birth references, but with every death comes a birth or two. There's a population problem, apparently, though that's being refuted by South Dakota. |

11/20/06 Thanksgiving is here for our American friends. What are you thankful for? We're thankful we live in a country that hasn't given incentives to Uwe Boll so he'll film here. The country that gave us the Blues. The country that has so much damn freedom we just have to give it away! We're also thankful for Jack Bauer. He keeps us safe 'round the clock. So do Spike and Angel, except in the daytime. Also, thank YOU for checking in! |

10/31/06 Covered in blood? We are! Not because of reshoots, though. We aren't doing those right now. Nope, we're on a KILLING SPREE! We're cutting up people like we're cutting the movie – DIGITALLY! And the best is, that DOESN"T MAKE SENSE! They'll never be able to prove a thing… |

09/24/06 - It's A Girl! We'd like to announce the birth of the rough cut of our baby girl, Corpus Kristi. She's come in at a very healthy 2 hours, 21 minutes, and 33 seconds. Needless to say a c-section was needed. We've been guaranteed by the doctors that she'll lose some of that weight very quickly, probabaly a little under an hour of it. It's very normal to have lots of growing room in the early stages of birth. Light those cigars if you have 'em, we'll have a (belated) baby shower for her soon! Shawn Jones, Director |

05/28/06 - Day 11 Into the woods... yes, we've decided to scrap what we were doing and make a musical. No wait, we shot our big outdoors-y scenes today! Brought my dad in for a wicked death scene (best b-day present ever is having a parent let you murder them on film). Also, wrapped Zeb up for his principal photography. Only need one more scene with Mike, and then it's just the Pat and Stoney show the rest of the shoot! 18 pages to go! 18 minutes edited! 18 dollars left in the budget! We can do it! 05/07/06 - Day 10 Overtime! Two or three more filming days left to go. Shot all the driving to Canada scenes (with the exception of the garage) today. Less than a 3rd to go. Editing is coming along nicely, I've got about 10% done in rough edit. The eagle-eyed have seen that I've updated our page here with the 1st teaser trailer for the flick. When we're done shooting I'll post a full-length trailer (with actual non-temp music). Shawn Jones, Director |

04/11/06 - Editing has begun After some things that put the movie on hold for the past two weeks, I am glab to report that health concerns, resting and recouperating concerns, and other commitment concerns are getting cleared up, allowing for not only a needed distancing, head-clearing breather, but for us to have the energy to dive into post on Corpus Kristi that we had going into pre-pro and shooting. Some of the stuff that's gone on isn't my place to go into, but no fights or squabbling or whatnot (for all of you gossip types). That was the production. ZING! I kid. No, this was a case of nature, fate, whatever throwing a curveball our way. Anyway, a rough cut is already together of a few minutes worth, and more soon. Depending on finances, we may be grabbing a new hard drive to accommodate even more footage at once, speed up the process a little. Looking into options. Most of them involve an actual purchase, apparently. All my blogs are about the movie, aren't they? Well, it's a big bit of what's going on. I can't stay too anonymous with a blog linked to everyone I know, so that isn't exactly a great outlet. How would it look if I started talking about somebody I LIKE liked, and then she finds out and emails me a letter about investing in Nigerian bank accounts and a cease & assist order. Yes, assist. I think lately I may need a girlfriend who isn't bright. So knowing what I dig, we can see I've already sabotaged the concept. I'm a keeper. C. Pat Storck, Writer, Seen as Steve |

03/30/06 - home stretch Principal photography is done on the movie. Now we just have exteriors and post production. How hard is post, really? Editing? You're cutting! It goes quicker with every moment. Music? Find a good track and dump it. So like, that's an afternoon. Second unit pick-ups? ROAD TRIP! Maybe make it an excuse to hit a few White Castles. Sound mixing? I've got hearing problems, so what do I care? Audio commentary? I bring a case of Yeungling and some chips, then yada yada the magic of movies. This is all starting to add up... Damn. I'm barely leading toward second. Well, at least my plate's not full with... Oh yeah. Stuff. A fair amount. The Comedy Fest will be done after this weekend. I quit the 2nd job. So there's at least time to honor my obligations and get caught up. Then I can start watching DVDs, reading more comics, and maybe even relax at some point. Of course, this is if I can ever get over the fact that I find relaxing excessively boring. If I have that much time to kill, maybe I'll actually get back to guitar practice. Yeah, right. C. 03/26/06 - Day 9 We finished up principal photography on Corpus Kristi tonight. Just outdoor/car shots to get in the upcoming weeks. The footage we shot in the Apartment today looks awesome. I think I might end up editing it together this week for use as a trailer/sneak of the film at a comedy festival that's going on next weekend. Pat's parents were awesome as the Glaucoma couple watching our leads drunkenly pack furniture into the minivan. Gotta send out a big thanks to our crew (Primarily Matt, Mike, Bridget, and Kevin), and of course everyone who helped them out inbetween. Could NOT have done the pic without you guys in the background. Paul, ya sure do take some pretty pictures. Considering the conditions we were working under I think ya pulled off a miracle here. Cameos/Friends, ya'll did great. Not a single performance tha I don't have tons of good stuff to work with... especially with those that got a full conversation (party people, cops and gangsters)... LOTS off funny stuff in there. Main cast, ya had to freeze your asses off... but I think you'll think it was worth it when you see it all come together. Not a day went by watching the dailies that each of you didn't make me laugh out loud. Can't wait to grab those last scenes, but thankful we all get some sleep and time before we have to. Now, back to work... Shawn Jones, Director |

Day 8 PARTY! Another late night. Went well. Feeling ill again, but just one more (short) day to get through. Party stuff turned out well. Our extras tuned out great (as did our porch and fight girls), lots of people in the fore/backgrounds. Plus, we got to watch Mike set fire to his hand (with stunt contracts and everything) Shawn Jones, Director |

03/24/06 - Day 7 Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Kevin did most of it, but that was the name of the game prepping for the last apt shots. Decided (for more resons than one) to hold off of the Byron sequences until we have more light/time, but Pat and I got to actually spend some time looking at dailies and discussing the game plan for the rest of the flick. Our very own Dolph (Mike Storck) posted some pictures up at his blog (http://www.mikestorck.blogspot.com/) if anyone wants to check 'em out. Check out his comedy stuff too. He's one funny mofo. 03/23/06 - Movie so far Movie progressing. Fest progressing. All going as smoothly as these ventures go: with bumps to let you know that there are enough people who care to get tings done right to create some clashes along the way. I like clashes, because they make everyone bring their A game, even if we all get headaches and punch walls and kill the occasional transient on our way home. Sacrifice a hobo for art! Okay I tired. Me sleep. Happy everyone is doing well with the movie, and a quick (for now) thanks to everyone helping on the movie. Cast, you are all cracking me up. I made words on paper, you're making me forget what I wrote, except what you improvise. That makes me remember why a script is a blueprint for better than I could have thought of. Okay, enough with the gushy weepy. C. Pat Storck, writer, Seen as Steve |

03/21/06 - BLOOD DAY! We got some really funny shit done today. Plus, some shots on the roof... which ROCKED. Montage is super-funny. An hour of dalies went by in a flash. Catching up on sleep now, but I'll check in late tomorrow/early Thursday. Shawn Jones, Director |
